My mom was thinking that Manny Pacquiao would just train in Baguio City in preparation for his upcoming fight against World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champ Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas. I didn’t argue but I was thinking that he’d be leaving the country for the US and continue his preparation there like in his past fights. I was right. In fact, he’s leaving could even be earlier. I’m not really a big fan of UFC but at least I am. Lately, I’ve been looking for free livestream of the upcoming “UFC 104: Machida vs Rua” which will air on October 24th. “I’ve been” here means religiously everyday. I can just watch the fight through pay-per-view or buy a ticket and fly from my place to Staples Center, California but for someone who is soon to resign from work, either way is wasting money and not a good option.
Why not enjoy watching it for free? [may kasunod pa po...]

Guess who’s the November 2009 covergirl of Playboy? It’s Marge Simpson. No Joke.
I don’t know what exactly has gotten into the minds of those Playboy people but according to them, Marge Simpson Playboy pics are actually something the public wants to see. Marge Simpson’s sexy poses are the centerpiece of the next Playboy issue. This is not the first time for Homer’s wife to have racy photos of her taken; she was the covergirl for Maxim Magazine April 2004 issue. But Marge kept her clothes on for Maxim, whereas she is baring more of her blue-haired toon soul for Playboy. [may kasunod pa po...]

I didn’t know about this until today. A New Moon trailer–yes the New Moon with Edward and Bella–has been banned. The controversial video has been leaked to the internet by some unselfish folks. I wonder what could be wrong with this vampire-human love story that many enjoy. Is it because it’s not been edited yet and there are scenes that shouldn’t be seen by the public? Is it too violent? Is it like the Da Vinci Code that may have negative effect to the faith of all Christians? Or maybe, it has some sexually explicit contents. Whatever the reason is, that will only make the new Twilight saga a real blockbuster?
Here’s the controversial banned New Moon trailer (loading may take some time as this, again, controversial): [may kasunod pa po...]

Honestly, I never thought that real-life pirates still existed—the Anne Bonney types, you know. I learned about them only on movies and some history books. But I was wrong. And the Yahoo! article I’ve just read proved it.
Somali pirates attempted to attack an 18,000 tonne flagship in the Indian Ocean on Wednesday (US time). Too bad for them as they [may kasunod pa po...]

In May, Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida electrified the mixed martial arts world with a stirring knockout of Rashad Evans. He will make the first defense of his UFC light heavyweigh title in the main event of UFC 104 on Saturday, October 24th. Former pride star Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, who’s coming off after knockouts from Mark Coleman and Chuck Liddell, will be the fighter to attempt to strip-off the dragon’s title . [may kasunod pa po...]

No offense meant. After many serious days of having to deal with the devastation left by Ondoy and Peping and with the online controversy brought about by a shoutout of what was believed to be Jacque Bermejo and the racist tweets by @uglyyubin and @jen_shwa, I guess it is time for us to somehow laugh despite all these.
I learned about this video while mom was browsing Facebook. One of the timelines showed a funny video–it wasn’t supposed to be funny–it was a formal newscast on national TV. The Saksi newscast was doing well until Michael Fajatin took over the scene… [may kasunod pa po...]

"Where Im from, Everyones a hero" design by Mark Gosingtian
Typhoon Ondoy left us all devastated. Maybe even shocked. The amount of rain that would normally fall in two weeks made its way to the Philippines in just three hours. Then came Peping. It avoided the Manila city proper but it hit northern provinces big time with deadly winds. Reportedly, three more typhoons are coming to test us. But we shall make it. Because “Where I’m from, everyone’s a hero.” [may kasunod pa po...]
