Social Web

It’s not like Friendster that you can change the layout. It’s not YouTube or MySpace which per se a video sharing site. I wonder though why so many have migrated to this new social networking platform. I wonder why I open my FB account everyday when what I do is just opening it. The site’s design is plain simple. Anyway, so much for that.  I don’t have enough brainspace to think about the answers.

Let me just share with you the corporate email I received one dawn. It has nothing to do with the company though but wit hfacebook. What if internet was a part of Pres. Aguinaldo’s time? What if social networking was a daily-life-thingy then? What if this site in motifs of blue already existed that time? You just can’t imagine. Consider the following pictures:

Microblogging – Pinoy Edition

by enad on August 12, 2009

I was kind of web outdated. I had just known twitter two or three months ago. I didn’t even know what it was for–I just signed up for an account due to curiosity–not until I started  blogging again.

In those months, I realized what this 140-character-online-short message-service can do. It became a venue for people (that includes me!) who just wanted to put into words their random short thoughts. It is also a handy tool for celebrities and big personalities to communicate with their fans although there are times that their timelines or posts just spark hot topics. For web marketers and bloggers who want to drive traffic to their site called social traffic. I even received a newsletter  on how to make money by “tweeting.” Unfortunately, the offer isn’t valid in the Philippines. Surely, there are much more to twitter than I can think of. That’s perhaps the reason why that are lots of copy-cuts or shall I say, clones, coming out. Sorry for the terms but I think it’s just proper to use them. [may kasunod pa po...]
