It’s been a while since the last time I made a post to this blog–almost a month. When I tried to login to the admin panel, I was even quite hesitant if I still remembered my login; luckily my computer did. And I was also surprise to find out that this blog is already PR3 when I seldom make post.
So what’ s up with my world? [may kasunod pa po...]

"Momentary Truce with Poverty" photo taken by Kamalayan
I have another blog which has been unmaintained for quite some time. In fact, it has been spammed more than a thousand of illegitimate comments. So I decided to transfer some of the contents to this blog and remove it from there.
I wrote the following in 2007 first release of our school paper that year–when I was still a student. This is neither a literary piece nor an essay. I really don’t know what to call it. But this is something that makes a person guilty. It made me guilty as I wrote it. Here it goes: [may kasunod pa po...]

Windows 7 rocks and it also rocks my world.
The release of Windows 7 Beta was overwhelming. The unexpected response from the users who wanted to participate in the beta testing made Microsoft to, instead of making the download available for the first one million users, have it downloadable until a certain date. The case of the RTM version is worse. [may kasunod pa po...]

I’ve noticed that for the past few days my Adsense widgets are just showing up public service ads. It happened before but eventually all the ads went back to normal. This time though, it still stays that way. If yours are also showing the same kind of ads then we may have the same situation.
After checking on my Adsense account today, I realized that [may kasunod pa po...]

I am call center agent. I earn bigger than an average Filipino worker–actually much bigger–not to mention the monthly regular benefits and quarterly bonus I receive. My workplace is airconditioned. I’m equipped with modern tools needed. I always have access to the internet. And all I have to do is to sit and take calls. That’s all. Good, isn’t it? Or so it is. There are things that people don’t know about my job. My mom’s job. My cousin’s. My officemates.’ Ours. And if you want to know, the following privilege speech delivered last August 17 by Rep. Raymond “Mong” Palatino of the Kabataan Party list will somehow give you an idea: [may kasunod pa po...]

Hypocrisy is defined by asnwers.com as “an act or instance of such falseness.” That’s what I was thinking when I opened a particular email before–perhaps a month ago–which I didn’t bother to share. Earlier, my mom opened her inbox and she got the same “spam” I received. In it, the President Gloria Arroyo is being compared with a dog. They’re both being shown praying with closed eyes and hands (or paws) together but the question is, “Who is more sincere?” [may kasunod pa po...]

The thing that Filipino bloggers like about online users is their curiosity of sex and scandals. They drive traffic to their sites which include this blog. If you don’t believe me, ask yourself: “Why am I here?” [may kasunod pa po...]

I really thought that it was a different Barack Obama but it was really he. Here’s an excerpt about the news of his death:
WASHINGTON DC–US President Barack Obama died in the presidential bedroom at the White House. He was 48. According to the FBI’s paramedical team, the cause of his death was cardiac arrest. The first lady woke up to go to the restroom and when she went back, she noticed that the president was very still and looked so cold. She touched him and realized that he was already dead.
