Manny Pacquiao number one one Yahoo! Philippines top searches? No doubt. If there was one Filipino that  mostly everyone in the world knew, that would be Manny Pacquiao (even PGMA has no match against him). Having gotten his seventh world title in boxing, he is now the world’s number pound for pound boxer (not that Gayweather, right?). Not to mention that fact that, in the Philippines, during his previous fights, the country seemed to stop–everyone’s eyes are on his/her TV screen or computer monitor, no traffic, and if I’m not mistaken no criminal incidents on those days.

The best pound-for-pound boxer i the world beat former champ Ricky Hatton in two furious rounds in Las Vegas in May. Time Magazine cited him as one of the “Most Influential Pepole of 2009.” Manny  also starred in global ads for Nike alongside NBA star Kobe Bryant.
